Tickets For USF-Auburn FB Game Sold Out

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida athletic ticket office announced on Monday morning that the entire visiting allotment of 2,400 tickets for the Auburn game has been sold.

The sell out is a first in USF history.

The Bulls and Tigers square off at Jordan Hare Stadium on Sept. 8.  The game is being televised nationally by ESPN2 and will kick off at 9 p.m. EST.  Auburn is ranked No. 18 in the AP Preseason Poll, while USF is receiving preseason votes for the first time in program history.

USF season tickets for games at Raymond James Stadium are also selling at a record pace.

As of Monday morning, the USF ticket office had sold 18,550 tickets for the 2007 season.  The total is the second highest in program history, behind the inaugural season in 1997 when the season ticket total surpassed 20,000.

Tickets for home and away contests can be purchased by calling 1-800-GoBulls.

And can't USF fans still  buy through another party?....I'm sure it's more expensive....but I thought I read somewhere on this board that anyone who missed out on the allottment can still buy near the student section.  So I'm sure we'll have more than 2,400 fans at the game.  It's going to be awesome......can't wait.

Glad I already have mine.  Can't wait until we are sellling out the bottom two bowls on a consistent basis.  Then we attack the third level!
