Aside from WVU, did we beat anybody with a winning record last year?  I don't count ECU since that was pretty much a gimmie win.  I think we're getting enough respect for now.  End of discussion.

Preseason Polls are all about name recognition.  We'll have plenty of time during the season to prove ourselves.  We just can't lose to teams like Cincy and Kansas.  If we beat those types of teams consistently, we'll climb the ladder signigicantly.

Let's be honest, I don't think many of thought we'd crack the Top 25 to begin the season. The "respect" will be earned if we're able to beat Auburn and/or WVU and beat who we should the rest of the season.

Joe Schad of ESPN just said the most Underrated Team of the Preseason is...............USF.  He said Rutgers is overrated in his opinion, but USF is underrated when you consider Matt Grothe is getting Brett Favre comparisons.  Also, said the D is very good.
