If we want to move up into the arena of the elite programs of the country and gain the same type of respect, then we should expect these types of schedules.  We need to keep winning with these types of schedules.

We do play 4 top 18 schools.  Not many in the country can say that.  In fact, I think the only team close is LSU that plays 4 in the top 21, 5 in the top 30.

In 2005 Notre Dame supposedly had one of the nation's toughest schedules and it turned out to be a joke, so preseason schedule rankings dont really mean anything. Yeah playing Boise State, Hawaii, and Ohio State in non-conference play is tough but I think USF could go 2-1 against those 3 teams.
