Yeah the SEC has some retarded schedules this year.  12 of the top 25 toughest schedules belong to SEC teams.

Of course we have the 10th hardest schedule in all of the land. We play in the toughest conference AND a road trip to Auburn. The Big East has 4 legitimate heisman candidates, and 2 legitimate top 10 teams (for now until we crack it). If the Big East can keep this up, they may raid the ACC for a few of their teams.

It's because most of the top teams in that league are playing each other. I'm going to be surprised if someone makes it out of that league with only one loss.

the conference is deep this year and i really dont expect anyone to go undefeated with the schedules they have.

This poll loses all credibility if only for the sheer fact Notre Dame doesn't garner a top 10 ranking.  How can any unbiased person suggest USF has a tougher schedule than Notre Dame this year?
