It would be nice if they had an on-campus stadium, but i'm attending the St. Pete campus for now so having the games at Ray Jay doesn't really make a difference to me. I may be moving to the Tampa campus at some point though.

Building an OCS now that USF could afford (which wouldn't be much of one) would set the program back not move it forward.  Maybe you should stay at home with the folks a little longer before you move out and have the home foreclosed on.

Well considering that the school to the East began football in 1979 and it took them 28 years to build an on-campus stadium, I'd say we have at least 15 years before one we even consider it.  Thing is we are NOT in the same stadium situation that Orlando school was in with the Citrus Bowl, RayJay is light years ahead of the Citrus Bowl.

So now we're using UCF as a measuring stick?

Hmmmmmm.  Curious.....very curious.

Blast 'em when it's convenient, and use them as a standard when it's convenient.

Interesting.

Yeah, because that's how all the big-time programs did it, right?

They built a palace for their first stadiums, right?

Uhhhhhhh, yeah.........no.

Yeah....look at Louisville...........they built a pretty basic stadium, and they are one crappy program now because of it.  They're expaning it soon, and they are a top ten team.

Yeah, let's definitely not go that route!!

:nope

So we should build a small stadium just so we can sell it out.  Sounds like a good plan to me.

Hmmmmm...........did I say that?

No........no I didn't.

40k-50k, something like Louisville or UCF.

And not just so we can sell it out (but yeah, that would be a cool part of it too).

We'll get a stadium when we can sell more than 18,400 season tickets...

Or we could expand the Soccer Stadium to accomodate around 20,000 and everybody would be happy.

18,400 season tix and 4,000 students, so it needs to be a bit bigger...
