I'm a huge USF fan but hard to argue with his rationale.  I think he hit the nail on the head with the overall summation but of course just as anyone would he'd be wrong on a few of his actual picks.  By and large though I'd be shocked if he wasn't over .500 with these picks.

I have to agree with him too.  It would be great to play Wisconsin though.  We need a home and home with the Badgers!!  That team would bring a bunch of fans down to Tampa.

In the article he says Louisville and WVU "seem capable of matching up" with Ohio State and Michigan, but then he has Louisville play Penn State and Ohio State playing Rutgers.

IMO, it would be...

WVU-UM(toss up)

UofL-OSU(toss up)

RU-UW(toss up)

USF-PSU(usf)

I would disagree with Purdue's offense being too much for a very good Cincinnati defense.  And Northwestern shouldn't be able to "run wild" on a peewee team, let alone UConn.

I still can't believe how underrated Cincinati is... I think they'll be better than Pitt, but a lot of the media writers seem to be putting them more at the level of UCONN and Syracuse, and I see them as being a far better team than either...

Would have been smarter to put the Big East against the ACC, basicly same geographic area of fans.

Well since all the games have to be played I guess they're all a toss up.  Come on.  For the record I voted for the BE just prior to my first post.  Easy to make that vote when nothing other than conference pride is at stake.
