We're approximately 18 days until kickoff of the 2007 season.     

     

The number 18 was and/or is worn by the following Bulls:         

Glen Gauntt .............................................1998

Kevin Patullo...................................2000-2002

Amarri Jackson ....................................2005-2007

Amarri needs to be a leader this year.  Need a big year out of him.

Great guy......needs to step up this year.  Him and T.Johnson playing at their hightest level, with consistancy, will be very dangerous for any DB.

I think I had more mobility than Glen Gauntt. Actually I made that joke to The Oracle back when they were having their prediction contests and the winner had their picks added to the column the next week. They wisely decided not to run that comment.

I forsee Amarri throwing 3 TDs against Louisville this year!

Nobody will accuse Amarri of being consistent but how can you not love this guy.  I think Amarri's real problem is that he's a gamer that evidently doesn't practice well or something and this limits his playing time.  But a gamer like Amarri needs to be on the field getting into the flow of the game and then let his athletic ability take over.

Flip... Now that's funny! When #18 came up this morning my exact thought was" we get a couple of comments on every number. I wonder what it'll be like when we reach #8?" I guess you answered that one. I know for me from 100 down to around 25 or so seemed to go fairly quickly. Now I think my calendar has slowed to two for one days. I CAN"T WAIT!

Oh, my thought on #18. Don't try the that pass on Auburn.
