How far are we from selling out the lower bowl with season tickets?

Here is a start:

41,000 seats in the lower bowl?

-10,000 reserved for students?

-18,400 already sold

-  5,000 reserved for visiting team?

-    500 band?

So are we about 7,000 away from what would be considered selling out the lower bowl with season tickets?

Beating Auburn, winning the conference, winning our bowl ... will go further in getting more season ticket holders than the 2008 schedule.

And I will be preaching to everyone that this is the time to get the better seats and not wait for 2009(which includes UM) because the better seats will be taken.

I agree....each winning season will draw more and more season ticket holders.  Time + Winning = Large Fan Base.

This is not a "Field of Dreams" type town. You gotta win to get them there, right now. Maybe after ten more years of graduating football students. I think our fan base is growing. I think it will stair step it's way to where we want it to be, with these UL and WVU years being a bit better than the off year. 2009 with this home schedule, plus Miami, I think will be one of the largest increases in our history.

Maybe we'll be like the Bucs and have a waiting list for that season! Ok, maybe a little dreaming...

And a perfect exacmple of that is that we had L'ville coming in as a Top 10 team in 2005, and the upper deck was not opened.

Fans will come when they expect USF to win, not just for the opponent.
