It's not the official GAMEDAY shirt of Raymond James or USF...it's meant to be official as in sponsored by SG and the AD.

Just pointing out, SeaBull, that your signature says it's a gameday shirt... so you can understand the confusion:

Personally, I agree with Trip that it's a communication problem... not enough fans know to wear green on game day.

Personally, I'll be in my #8 jersey... or a green USF under armor polo for the games (depending on the game/kickoff).

Oh, and MikeB... I change my shirt after tailgating before walking to the stadium.  So I sweat in one USF shirt (white or a t-shirt) for tailgating, then wear the jersey/green polo to the game!!

I guess it is a communication problem, because it's the gameday shirt sponsored and supported by SG and the AD.

If SG and AD = USF, and SG = Students, then I need to change my sig...How can I make it so that people don't just think this is for the students though?

If it's not just for students, then that needs to be communicated anytime something is written about the shirts. All the info that I could pull up either specified students or, in the case of the Bulls Heaven ad, didn't mention game day shirt at all...

I think a lot of people know that it's not just for students, otherwise they wouldn't have bought it.  It wouldn't be on sale at different locations around Tampa, it would only have been sold at USF.  School hasn't started and already 4K have been sold, that's amazing.  Wait til people start moving in and students get settled, shirts will start selling like crazy.

Only thing I have a problem with NOW is that all these people are buying it and not planning on wearing it.  Which is why I wanted the shirts to only be sold to students first, but that can't be changed now.  So...if you buy it, wear the **** shirt, if you are going to wear something else, don't buy the shirt and let someone else that WILL wear it buy it.

If these shirts sell out the student section will look amazing!!  I am soooo happy that USF is taking this step.  In the next few years I think they'll be many changes.  The students graduating now; like myself and bullzfan4life, have been following football since we started at USF.  Newer alumni will follow it much more, they'll know to wear green, and they will NOT be sitting on their ass...  It's such an exciting time for USF!!
