Not being on the list is a good thing. It says that Gothe has nothing to prove; he has already done that. Did you read the article?

This was a column that most football fans read and don't think Grothe is for real. The college football nation does think he needs to prove himself.

That just means there are NO questions about good Ol Matt.  We might have some questions, but Nationally there are non.

Sometimes, I completely disagree with how our fans get riled up when USF isn't mentioned in some opinion article.  This is one of those times.  MG showed his mettle last year.  He fought through some serious adversity and succeeded.  Just because you think he shoudl be included in every single list out there doesn't mean that he will be.  this oversight is so minor that it is laughable that people are riled up over it.  To be honest, I think emailing the author on this is bush league, and doesn't represent the Bull Nation well.

That was my thinking.  Grothe was the best freshman QB in the nation last year.  What questions are left?
