I would say so, same as taping up ankles.

It looks like they were on the IM fields (on the other side of the "hill").

they were on the fields near the softaball field. It's pretty torn up but it makes sense to use these right now-- they are closer to the athletic facility, are getting used quite a bit during two a days, and allows the regular season fields to stay in fine shape for the normal practices during the season.

It was kind of hot but nothing ridiculous. Of course-- I wasn't running drills either.

Grothe doesn't have braces on -- just knee supports. If you look closely, those are not metal braces like the linemen use.

There was one older man out there--- not exactly sure who it was but CJL kept talking to him, saying he needed to be out here coaching. It is Snyder perhaps? I really couldn't say.

One other tidbit--- Overheard CJL telling Chris Robinson to get out here--- that he was screwing up his punt cover drills by being hurt (tongue in cheek of course).

Leavitt ran many drills during the that one segment. He did everything the linemen did-- even when they had to do the penalty runs for making an error during the drills. How you can screw up a hard ten is beyond me-- but they did it.
