In the "100 days to Bulls Football" countdown, TheBullsPen.com is hosting discussion on players wearing the numbers 99 to 1.         

     

We're approximately 21 days until kickoff of the 2007 season.     

     

The number 21 was and/or is worn by the following Bulls:         

Otis Dixon ......................................1997-2000

Maurice Tucker ...............................2001-2002

Kenny Robinson ......................................2003

Trae Williams...................................2004-2007

That's three pretty solid football players:  Dump Truck, MoTuck and Trae.  Two one is a good number for the Bulls.  ;D

21 is my favorite number, wore it throughout my amateur career (even on the courts at USF)....dated back to my appreciation for Roberto Clemente.

As I recall Kenny Robinson was the guy that kept J.R. Reed off the field his freshman year....J.R. was relegated to Special Teams while Robinson played in the Def. Backfield.  Didn't take long for J.R. to assert when he got his chance.

Trae is a great corner, but I gotta go "old skool" and go with Otis Dixon. I think we should always remember and be grateful for our first couple year teams. They decided to come here when the biggest game of the year is agains Georiga Southern. It just shows you the type of recruiter CJL is to lure guys and have them believe in the bigger picture which is NOW!
