The much more significant part of that column was this ....

-- Also, in basketball news, freshman guard Dominique Jones has been cleared by the NCAA Clearinghouse. Jones had already enrolled at USF for summer B classes, which end this week.

Everyone deserves a 2nd chance.  I'd take him.  But he gets a really short leash.  One strike, and you're out.

The school itself is a good school for Orlando.  Some of the surronding areas are so-so.  Here is a blurb on him,  http://olemiss.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?pr_key=25541  I would like to hear about his academics, more about the criminal history and outcome, then I would check out his athletic abilities.
