Looks like we're at 4 right now from the board, but I haven't yet reached beyond, so I should certainly be able to pull in other alumni I know in the area who aren't board members. that, and I should be able ot find some other suckers who can be convinced to come out and enjoy what should be an amazing game.

You need to call the alumni association and ask for Merrell. He will send you a PDF of the confidentiality agreement that you have to sign in order for him to give you alumni information in your area. once you do that - just start calling. You should be able to round up a herd in no time flat! Plus - the alumni association will put your event on the website and if you get them in early enough - they will also send it out in e mail blasts to alumni across the country.

yes this is ACC/Socon countryso coverage will be hard, but if they put it on satalite the bars should get it. just might want to call ahead and reserve because you dont want to have to fight the other people for a TV station

elonfirefighter is right, you should call the bar ahead of time.  You should also check out the UNC and NCSU schedules to see if there is a gametime overlap.  If either team is playing at the same time, it will be very important to reserve seating and a tv.

I hate to keep butting in - but when it comes to watch parties, the alumni association told me to call ahead and make sure the bar manager agrees to the following before you make a commitment:

1. to keep the tvs on the USF game 100% of the playing time. No ifs ands or butts

2. to keep the sound at ON the entire time the game is on.

UPDATE: North Carolinians--We are a GO for Cooper's Ale House, located at 5340 W. Market St. in Greensboro. Watch party starts at 8 for a 9pm (ET) kickoff. We've got our own area of the restaurant, with our own TV(s), although I noticed upon making the reservation that also in the restaurant will be the Triad Gators club, watching their game against Troy at 6. Guess you can't have it all. But I hope to see you all there. PM me if you have any questions. GO BULLS!  :gobulls

If there is anyone coordinating  a watch party in Raleigh(sp), please let me know. One of Orlando's finest Bulls fans, Cotton, has been forced to relocate up there. He will need company and someone to restrain him from attacking anyone with UCF apparel in the state.  Many Thanks, Kdawgy
