Calling All North Carolina Bulls

Attention Bulls in North Cackalack:

Some talking was done in a thread a while back about some watch parties here in NC since we seem to be amassing a critical mass here. It's time to turn talk into action. I've done some looking at possible places around here (Greensboro) and I've found a place I'd like to give a try. It's Cooper's Ale House (http://myspace.com/coopersalehouse) here in Greensboro, and with sufficient interest, I'd like to go ahead and book it for the Auburn game. I do realize there are Bulls in various parts of the state, but Greensboro's pretty centrally located, so if this works for this time, I'd gladly take the hike next time out. If we make it happen, we should be able to petition Eric for some Bulls goodies up this way as well. So the big question is... who's in?

Also, herein lies the rub: If we get this going, I  do have a commitment (Get Down!Town here in Greensboro, if you've heard of it) that's also going on that night. I intend to put in my time early and get out before the game starts, but I may need a someone to serve as my second for any pre-game setup. So if you're interested in that, let me know as well. Gotcha Gunz--hopefully we'll be able to get up at another point in the season. From what I've heard, it's a good time up in the mountains in the home of the back-to-back national champions as well.

it is gonna be hard being in ACC Country.  At the Marriot at the airport here in Greensboro, it is covered with banners and what not of ACC teams

You have to understand that there will be ZERO COVERAGE of the Bulls in North Carolina.  Trust me on this.  I just moved from Atlanta.  You have to make bars put them on, or else you won't see them play.  Most bars are OK with it as long as no other huge games are up against them.  It also helps if you have a watering hole where they know you.  But trust me, sitting back and waiting for the Bulls to miraculously appear on TV won't happen.  You have to make it happen!

Yeah, we're deep in the heart of ACC Country--those of us in Greensboro are actually right in the conference headquarters. All the more reason to get together and make 'em put it on.
