I actually liked Ca Hill in the secondary but hoped he would have a chance to Redshirt and learn the position.  Even though we are leaner than we were I still think we have enough depth at WR.  Problem is it is hard to keep a guy like Hill off the field Redshirting him when you know he could be contributing at WR.  Even if he might be only slightly better than the reserves.

I really like our receiver group.  Very deep, very tall, and very fast.

Haven't seen a couple of them play yet, so hopefully they have good hands.

Some of those guys might have another year though, right?  For example, I don't think Gilliiam or Buie has played all four years.

Buie is the only one that can gain an extra year of eligibility if he graduates this year.

Mike Ford will be the starting RB before this season is all said and done. Ford was one of the top RBs from his recruiting class, Williams was a walk-on. There is a reason why one was a top recruit and the other had to walk on, and that is talent. I liked what Williams did last year but Ford is the real deal and I can't wait to see him take over the starting job and become one of the Big East's premier running backs.

Brett doesnt even list Chris Robinson as a starter.

if he doesnt start at LB you would think that he would atleast start at DE.

With one full week of practice complete, University of South Florida offensive coordinator Greg Gregory and defensive coordinator Wally Burnham listed for us the Bulls’ starting lineup as of the completion of Monday’s afternoon practice. Keep in mind, the season opener is still 18 days away – “We’re certainly not ready to play a game right now, we need more time,†USF coach Jim Leavitt said – and these starting lineups do not include any players that are injured and did not practice Monday.

Robinson was hurt at the time.

Exactly ... hope C-Rob is back healthy for Elon.

We'll know more when he gets the boot off.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
