I just heard part of it, but they have some guest on talking about a magazine, and mentioned something about wrestling moving into Tampa, I guess the mag is based in Tampa. She mentioned on the cover that there was a guy that was 6'8 or something on the cover. Ron and Ian at Bucs training camp asked "Can he be an offensive lineman?" The guest response, "He did play football, he played tight end at USF for 3 years." Ron and Ian start laughing, and go no, "we need a little better resume than that, haha"

Its pissing me off that NO show host on 620 KNOWS A **** THING about USF. The producers, Justin and Derek Sharp seem to know more than them about everything, but especially about USF.

A couple more things, they just talked about those two students arrested in South Carolina, and mentioned that USF "has been a hotbed for terrorists". Same segment.

I remember hearing about a guy that is a wrestler now, I'm guessing its him, from the early years. Maybe he wasnt a great football player, but its insulting that because he went to USF his resume is not good enough to even try at training camp. They know nothing about USF, I cant wait until we beat Indiana 55-0 in a few years, maybe that will get Ians attention.

Don't sweat the small stuff Andy.... The entire 620 staff will be the first to jump on the bandwagon when we get that top 20 ranking...  When that happens give the ron and ian show a call and remind them of their jeers and KNOW NOTHING attitudes... Unfortunately there are more radio personalties nationwide that know more about our BULLS than those in our own backyard... The Shadow that the Bucs cast over the BULLS is a large one, however when the Bulls are 5-1 garnering national attention and the Bucs are 1-5 and talking about Gruden gettin fired the spotlight will be on our Bulls.. When this happens we (BULLSNATION) will have to swallow hard and allow tampa radio types to jump on the bandwagon and say statements like, "I knew they would be in the thick of it ronnie",  "Yes Ian I too Knew of the Bulls prowess, and have always respected their program."  ON A SIDE NOTE.. Its a nice problem that we will eventually have!

No need to be offended...Ron and Ian don't know much about anything, so not knowing anything about USF isn't a big deal. Listening to that show during the daytime is a waste of time, very little preperation is done regarding current news, stats. Picture the two guys at your work standing by the water cooler talking about stuff:

R: "Dude, Barry is awesome"

I: "No way man, I think he's on the juice"

R: "I had a friend who was on the juice"

I: "No need to tell me, I was on the juice myself"

R: "I could sure use some orange juice right now"

I: "Me too"

R: "maybe we should go back to work"

I: "maybe we should"

R: "Rock on"

Thanks guys, I just started listening to them a few weeks ago again, after I had quit awhile back because they didnt know anything. And you know, Anthony Henry played the first four years, I wonder how his resume looks right now.

But another positive, an ex-USF football player is on the cover of a magazine!

The day T.J. Rives went of the air as a regular sports talk show host was the day I lost all interest in Tampa Bay sports radio.

I live in Richmond now, and we have at least 3 or 4 sports shows that are superior to absolutely ANYTHING Tampa Bay has to offer.

And that's really pathetic since Richmond does not even have a single major league professional sports franchise.

Tampa Bay radio is horrendous. (including music)
