BBBulls07, get some of your scarlet buddies and head down to the dumbgeon. We could use a few knights advice on how to handle all this positive press.

How do you all stay so grounded anyways?  ::)

Yeah, you're so dedicated to following the Bulls that you have a whopping 2 posts on this board.

Give it up, ya big hair acid washed jeans wearing jersey trash.  =)

If you are in fact an alumnus, you can join the Alumni Assoc for $45 and puchase the ticket for I believe $35. That would be $80 total. From what I hear, the Rutgers tickets are scarce and are probably going to be scalped for at least that much. So, if you are in fact an alumnus, support the University with the membership dues and enjoy the game. However, I have a feeling you bleed Scarlet, as will your team after we finish pummeling them this season.

It's actually only $40 per year for the Alumni Association membership... and there are some other benefits to joining beyond helping your alma mater...

* Stay connected with the university

* Keep on top of the latest news

* Maximize the power of the alumni network

* Get involved in events, programs and activities

* Engage in life long learning

* Dig into discounts

He never did say he was an alumnus but if he is he could also PM Bausfkid, who's in Philly, to see if he could help. I'm sure he'd ferret out if he was an impostor or not...

Just so you know Rutgers fans.....I speak only for myself, but I have no problem with you guys wanting to try and get tickets for the USF game. If I were you this would be the #1 game on my list for this season.  ;)

However, be forthright and honest when coming here and asking us for help. Don't come here pretending to be a fellow Bull. Instead, say to us, "Listen, I am an RU fan who jumped on the bandwagon too late and, as such, I was unable to get tickets to see the mighty USF Bulls play my historically lowly Rutgers Scarlet Knights. Please, help me out, so I can watch the Bulls gore Teal, Rice, and Co." Do that, and there just might be a few on here willing to help you out.

The problem is he is being dishonest and disingenuous. There are a lot of good people on this board who would be more than willing to help him out. However, the way to do it is not to be deceitful and lie.

Why not let USF distribute tickets as they see fit?

Perhaps they plan on selling the tickets so that donors/members can be grouped together and the allotment of tickets is enough.  Perhaps, as the return deadline approached, they might open it to more people.  Maybe they'll return them to Rutgers and let Rutgers sell them as they see fit.

Perhaps they don't want the Green and Gold section riddled with RED.  Perhaps they don't want USF fans having to resort to scalped prices down the road.  They know ticket brokers are disguising themselves for these tickets.  I'm glad they were prepared.

It's a system fellows, and the best thing is to fit into the system. Period.
