Attempting to get away game tickets

Hello, displaced USF fan here living in PA at the moment.  Long story short, I was hoping to attend the away game at Rutgers in October but at the moment, the ticket office is only selling tickets to season ticket holders, donors and active alumni members, all of which I am not currently.  I was hoping there might be someone that would be interested in providing me with their PIN or something similar that would allow me to purchase a ticket for the game.  My e-mail address is bigauc@yahoo.com.  Thanks for the help and go Bulls!

Are you Alumni? If so join the AA.  Become a Bulls Club member.  Starts at $100. 

I assume they are trying to avoid scalpers and Rutgers fans from getting USF tickets.  Smart move.

Just Called about USF tickets and the ticket office said they will only sell them to people who can present proof of affiliation with USF. Anybody have any ideas on a way to get around that?

I called 2 days ago and only said that I support the Team as does my neice - she just likes them I did not say more than that and I do like them when they don't play us...and I have been charged for 2 tickets already on my card

I know someone who just had them sent to a relative's address in Florida. No problem at all. When I called a couple weeks ago, they didn't mention anything at all--said they were available to the general public August 1.

Unfortunately I am not even close to being in a financial position to spend $130 on a single ticket (which is all I'm looking for, no way I can afford a Bulls Club membership).  To be perfectly honest, I should probably not even be going to the game, but I get so few chances to see them I can't say no.

If you are in fact an alumnus, you can join the Alumni Assoc for $45 and puchase the ticket for I believe $35. That would be $80 total. From what I hear, the Rutgers tickets are scarce and are probably going to be scalped for at least that much. So, if you are in fact an alumnus, support the University with the membership dues and enjoy the game. However, I have a feeling you bleed Scarlet, as will your team after we finish pummeling them this season.

Probably easier and cheaper to get tickets to the Pitt game, and since you are in PA might be closer.  Save your money and watch the Rutgers game on ESPN and go the Pitt game.

It's actually only $40 per year for the Alumni Association membership... and there are some other benefits to joining beyond helping your alma mater...
