So I made a delivery today to the gym. I'm standing in the "cafe" they have there(basically the lady who makes the smoothies), there are 2 guys standing in line. Both college aged young lads, one wearing a USF shirt, his buddy, a UM shirt.

I give the USF fan a "Go Bulls" and he reciprocates.

At this point, I pointed towards his buddy and said "Yeah, screw him.....(and i point back towards the USF shirt).....THATS the REAL U."

Miami fan was taken aback that someone would even have the audacity to say such a thing. So he starts throwing stats at me about January bowl games and about the glory days of the Hurricanes......meanwhile, me and the USF fan just grinned at each other and I walked away....not wanting to give the Canes ******* the pleasure.....and he continued to run his mouth, making an ass of himself, as I walked out of the building.

Can't say that they are too far removed from the "glory" days...They've been to 9 straight bowl games and beat us pretty easily only 2 seasons ago.

I'll agree with that statement. I'm not afraid of them, but let's not call ourselves the real U. I think we need to come up with our own nickname. Let Miami keep that.
