Sporting News: Bulls a Sleeper Waiting to Stir Things Up/Upset Auburn

If Auburn needs an SI, ESPN, or Sporting News article to get up for this game, they are in trouble. The same goes for us. If we need the "disrespect" of the Pollsters to motivate our team, then we are in for a long season. Let these articles continue to come out, we just need to live up to our potential.

I'm not saying Auburn needs it, but it will be the topic of many "we're Auburn and we're picked to lose to USF" motivational speeches.

I think teams can be too pumped up for games as well and make a lot of uncharacteristic mistakes due to that fact (overpursue the QB, try to make a big hit and fail to tackle, try to force a pass, etc.) The key, beyond hype, is to be focused and be the better team on that day. Look at BSU v. OU last year. BSU was the better team that day and were able to focus. I have complete faith that Leavitt will have our boys ready on gameday and we will show Auburn a thing or two about Big East speed. 

Remember, we aren't really going to have to open things up to beat Elon. Auburn starts with a much more difficult game in KSU, who will probably hang with them until the 2nd Half, forcing Auburn to give us more game tape to dissect. I wish I had a DeLorean and a flux capacitor right now!!!

It's too late to sneak up on anyone anymore.  That isn't going to happen anymore.  We have gotten way too much press for that.

We might as well keep getting the good pub.  I'd rather get good pub than bad.  We are going to have to find out if we can handle it eventually anyway, so bring it on.
