UCF game will have a large crowd close to both WV and UL but I would probably say that the UL and WV games wil have more Bulls fans. UCF because of their location will have more visiting fans

Greg said WVU asked for more tickets they might rival UCF for number of fans. I am trying to imagine 7,000 Mountain hicks parking their 1960 Airstreams outside RJS? :-)

According to the blog, WVU has asked for 4,000 tix.

Early math says...

~20K season tickets

~ 7K WVU fans

~10K students/faculty

-----------------------------------

~37K fans for this game and the game is still 2 months out.....not bad.

I am sure UCF will be close to the 2nd highest attended game, because USF will be rocking and UCF is so close for fans to travel and they will be excited for the possibility to upset a ranked USF team.

And regarding WVU ... plan on close to 10K walk-ups.

Has the UCF game been played yet?

I will not doubt the novelty will wear off, but I think this has a strong chance to be our second most attended game.

Until I see the numbers that say UCF was 4th most attended game during the season, I'm going to withold judgment. If I'm proven wrong I will gladly admit it.

A lot of that has to do with UCF bringing quite a few fans, not that bulls fans will want to see it so much more than UL or UNC.  (Granted a lot of bulls fans do want to see ucf game).

Those teams are farther away, so naturally they will bring less fans.

If I were in Tampa, I would want to see WVU and UL much more than ucf.

Don't worry about UCF tickets. Remember Tampa and Orlando tend to have a good number of walk-ups, plus the large number of students that will be traveling (some students don't know how to plan more than 4 days ahead).

That's because your a hardcore Bulls fan.

WVU is definitly bringing their share, it's a lot of the reason why the upper deck opened. They've sold out their allotment (3-5k?) and asked for more.

If we beat Auburn, there could be a huge surge from the casual college football fan just looking to see good college football.  The friday night scheduling of this game could help in that regard.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
