Auburn hasn’t lost to a team using green as one its school colors since the 20-18 loss to Miami in the 1984 Kickoff Classic, a span of 23 years.

Of course, Auburn has also only played two such games in that span, vs. UAB in 1996 and against Tulane last year.

Still, though: 23 years without a loss to a green team!

Well, that includes Vanderbilt, so probably very good.

Actually, they don't play the Commodores very often... they played from 2001-2003, and the last time before that was 1993.  All-time they are 20-19-1 (and they first played in 1893).

Auburn's record against teams with some variation of gold (including yellow) since 1996 is 18-10... against "gold" its 9-2

Their 'yellow' record from 1996 - 2006:

Central Florida 3-0

Vanderbilt 3-0

Alabama-Birmingham 1-0

Army 1-0 (bowl game)

Idaho 1-0

Louisiana-Monroe 1-0

Western Carolina 1-0

Wyoming 1-0

LSU 6-5

Georgia Tech 0-2

Michigan 0-1 (bowl game)

Southern Cal 0-2

So the question is: will the 2007 USF team be like UCF or Georgia Tech ??
