Does anybody remember this about Terrance Smiley.?

POLICE BLOTTER: On a disappointing note, University of South Florida reserve fullback Terrance Smiley, a former Lake Wales Highlander, recently had a run-in with the law and was suspended from the Bulls indefinitely. Stand-out linebacker Demetrius Woods originally confessed to charges of burglary and petty theft involving an $85 parking permit last week. The next day Smiley then confessed to the crime. As of last week Smiley had not been arrested pending an investigation. Both players missed the Bulls 35-7 drubbing of Elon last Saturday. On a brighter note Bartow's Jason Butler led USF (5-0) with 13 tackles and Lake Wales' Therrimann Edwards was fourth with seven tackles. Quarterback Chad Barnhardt, of Lake Wales, threw for 238 yards and three touchdowns. South Florida is ranked No. 12 in Division 1-AA.

I do remember that. 

I also remember Hugh Smith being one of the most exciting guys on the field when he broke one open.  Extremely fast.  He was a cool kid, he would try to have contests with me on who owned the most pairs of Jordan's.  A battle I would never lose in my younger days.

Good eye, something about 33 seemed off about Hugh.  But I assumed my memory was fading.

Burnett was my favorite player last year. Kid has a real nose for the ball, and delivered some punishing hits. I'll miss him.
