I recall seeing his compensation agreement posted a while back, but was wondering what the package looks like now and next year....

In 2007 ...

$950,000 + $75,000 for a bowl appearance

buyout if he leaves between 1/1/07 and 12/31/07 is $500,000

Good stuff. Its about a year or two out of date, but you can pull up the pdf of a coach's contract.

Cool link.  I added it up and got 975 base and more if we get a bowl appearance....  Neat that this is on line in .pdf.  Looks like he is the second highest paid coach in the Big East.

Very cool!  Being a beancounter, I always wondered what their contracts looked like.  Not as glamorous as I thought :)
