What is more impressive is that true freshman are starting to jump ahead of upperclassmen on the depth chart. Although we have lots of WRs, we really dont have a "go to" guy. Hopefully, one will step up this year.

Grothe distributes the ball around pretty well- and when that happens, you tend not to have anyone stand out moreso than others. That and the fact that we lost several quality WRs to graduation.

Someone will emerge this year imo--- especially if we get more production out of our running game and thereby allow Grothe more chances at hitting the open receivers.

As stated about our upgrading in talent ... WR was a deep position and here we have a True FR pushing for a spot on the 2 Deep.

A great example of Leavitt & staff's eye for talent. C. Hill was a highly touted athlete and Bogan beat him out. We are recruiting better athletes, no matter who puts stars by their name.
