That's a bit of a shocker... Severino is a better 3rd string qb than Hill? I'll be honest, our overall qb situation scares the living crap out of me. Thank goodness our running game, from the rb position, should be light years ahead of what it was last year if everyone stays healthy.

BTW, in the spring I went to a spring football practice.  Leavitt was raving about Clebert then and these amazing S&C stats he said.  He said then that Clebert ran a 4.86 forty in the spring just at 300lbs.  I was in awe and another coach on the staff nodded and said it was true, and said last season was the year they expected big things from Richard but he came into the McNeese game tweaked so they didn't play him much, and then in the FIU game he went off but tore his hammy at the end of the game and only played in four more games after that and even then it was sparingly.  Basically the injury curtailed what the staff expected was his breakout season.  Now he's bigger, faster, and stronger, and this will be the season they hear about Clebert.

Like I've said before Leavitt's and Wally's best defenses have been when they've got talent, size, and experience on the interior line.  Those big linemen take up space and blockers and free up more space for the LB's and safeties to roam.  That's when those guys get to really put a defensive plan into place.

Another guy to watch for is Denson.  He had a monster first half of the spring game and 2nd half of spring playing slot.  He's shifty, with good hands and wheels.  He's a nice weapon that will be looking to put his mark on things with his last shot.

CJL does have a way of getting you excited about USF football!

The only thing that I would have liked mentioned was information on season tickets.  Whenever we have a coach or other official on these shows, it would be great to have the 1-800-Go-Bulls phone number given out, plus any ticket promotion that is going on.  That interview, no doubt, would have fired up a ton of listeners enough to pick up the phone then and there!
