Florida Governor Charlie Crist Proclaims August 31, 2007 College Colors Day

Florida Governor Charlie Crist recently proclaimed August 31, 2007 College Colors Day in the State of Florida. Fans, students, and alumni throughout the State of Florida are encouraged by Governor Crist's Proclamation to wear apparel representing their favorite college or university on Friday, August 31, 2007.

Heck, I already wear my USF hat to work everyday.

Guess I will have to wear a USF shirt  too. After all the Governor outranks my boss, right? ;)

Most of the people on the board wear USF shirts or colors everyday already.  Its like Valentines Day, celebrating something you already do throughout the year.

I am a State of Florida employee and I can't wear my green and gold on Fridays, what a bummer.

I can't wear my jogging suit (which happens to be very attractive) and I can't wear sneakers.

Someone needs to tell Governor Crist that he should speak to the Department of Corrections secretary and give us a dispensation for that particular day.

I love wearing Green and Gold.  When I am not working that's all I wear.

Hmmm...

The "holiday" is sponsored by Collegiate Licensing Company... who makes money when people by licensed apparel.  It's like the candy companies pumping up Easter, Valentines Day, and Halloween.
