Over the last couple years, there have been board member volunteers that scour the ends of the web for information on each USF opponent for the upcoming football season - sort of a season preview for each team - and put it together in one thread per team.  Other Bulls fans learn more about the opposition this way, their expectations, injuries, strengths and weaknesses.  Was that of value and if so, do we have volunteers to do so again this year?  Things will start getting interesting in a couple weeks with camps opening.  If you'd like to volunteer to "cover" a team, please state so here.  Thanks.

P.S. To honor tradition, Rutgers is reserved for smazza if he wishes to take them again.

I will start with Elon.

FYI, our former LB Glover has transfered there, but will sit out Game 1 per Greg's blog.

Also, our DC's son is a coach there.

Here's a link to Smazza's 2006 thread on Rutgers... so we have an example.

I would rather shove toothpicks between my finger nails.

Found this though....

Shawn Tucker, pictured at Wednesday's practice session, was named captain of the 2006 Scarlet Knights along with Brian Leonard, Eric Foster and Ramel Meekins

How are these guys going to compete in the Big East if they don't have any 4 and 5 star players leading the team?

fair question

rutgers isnt surrounded by the best talent in sport like usf so rutgers had to get what they could at the time

rutgers have much better coaches that developed their players

you should ask yourself why isnt rutgers better than gators  since they have been playing football longer

it comes down to talent and gators have it

it case you noticed rutgers is in bottom half of big east and are not competing for a conference title either

i hope this addresses your concerns eatsme
