Remember the Zoo Crew?

Denny Crum sure does. Even as a kid I remember reading those game reviews in the paper. There would always be a bit where Crum would complain about how rude the Zoo Crew was. I wondered how a coach could let fans get that far under his skin that he would whine about them in the postgame scrum.

But funny listening to Leavitt say it was still going up when it passed through the uprights.

Fond memories of that game and of that kick... I got a lot of playing time in that game... Seeing that kick though was something else... If he had kicked with the wind at his back in the UConn game that season, he would have hit from 70 yards. Nice pix of Billy Hoyle though... Also in the pic that I remember... Devin Sanderson the holder, Rich Guerro playing the end (#84), Derrick Rackard playing the right side end (#26)...
