What happened to the close to 50,000 people that were at that game? Where did they go and why aren't we still at that capacity?

I have good feelings about this year.  We have good hype, perhaps the best team ever, and a great home schedule.  46 days is way too long.  GO BULLS!!!!

What happened to the close to 50,000 people that were at that game? Where did they go and why aren't we still at that capacity?

I thought the first game was more than 50k.  I thought it was something around 70k???  Is that right?

I remember being at the game, and then, without about 2 minutes left in the game, the crowd had a chant that I disagreed with at the time. Now, I am starting to believe it.

Oh, the chant was "BRING ON THE GATORS"!

That's one of Tampa's biggest mysteries. I just can't believe that 25K+ people were there just for the novelty of it all. Maybe those 25k that disappeared were just hardcore fans of I-AA football. I insist that this could be a great investigative report assignment for Brett or Greg. I wouldn't mind seeing this in the front cover of the STP or Trib on a slow news day. I really wanna know what happened to them.
