The great debate in my mind when crafting this list, which is based on past performance and potential: Who should be No. 1? I went with West Virginia quarterback Patrick White. I think White does more for his team and is more valuable. Remember, Louisville didn't skip much of a beat when Brian Brohm went out with injury last year. Where would the Mountaineers be without White? Exactly.

Based on his rationale:

Where would the Bulls be without Grothe?  He's got the Bulls in the wrong order.  We have able replacements on defense I believe...it's the QB spot that worries me.

as i have been saying usf needs way more talent to compete in big east

and there is no reason usf doesnt have several top 10 players

in talent rich florida usf should have most players on this list

Trae being the highest ranked Bull shows that some people look only at stats.

A little surprised that Amarri was not listed nor Clebert or Woody George.

Expect to see Taurus, Selvie, C. Robinson and either Ford/Samuels on next year's list.

WVU still got it done against Rutgers without White.

You're joking, right?

Please, tell me you're joking.

Guys like Woody George might not even crack the top 40 on our team, bro.

And as far as the others go, Amarri has not progressed at all.  He has flashes of greatness, but then disappears for a game or two, or three.
