Idea for more national/local exposure?

Well fresh off my fist ever USF centered sports radio calll yesterday i have what i think is a good idea.  Why not try to get ATLEAST 1 poster a week to call in to a national show or even a local show so we can get our name out more on the air waves.  Good idea? Bad idea?  Would you participate?  Why or why not?

I think it's a great idea, wish more would that could.

I've called into Radio shows and TV shows. During the day is impossible, evening is the only time I can.

We just have too many fans yet, but keep doing it Bull Dozer and hope more will follow suit.

This idea is similar to a project E.T. and I were working on a few years ago to put together a list of all the local and national call-in shows so that numbers and showtimes were handy to Bulls fans.  Using the board as an alert system, we could certainly rally enough qualified callers to have an impact when the discussion is Bulls, State of Florida athletics or Big East related.  We got started on it, but did not complete.  I think I'll start on that again, and if anyone wants to help me with radio show information, I would appreciate it.  It was to be part of the "STAMPEDE" effect that E.T. has continued to pursue.

I think a lot of our ideas of qualified callers may vary.  you wouldnt want the guy or guys who predict undefeated seasons and national championships calling up national shows.  That may actually create a negative type of exposure for us.  

people should concentrate on how far we have come in such little time and the hype and excitement going into next season.

I've called the Big Dog show a couple of times and he seems willing to talk USF as long as his callers want to.
