there was a caller to ESPN radio about 5pm yesterday

and he hit the nail on the head, he said to the host the BE is getting little respect but if we keep winning it will come and usf will have a shot at the big boys SEC AUB and we must win, also our top 25 defense from last year will give us a shot.

very proud of that caller...he must be a board member 8)

I heard that caller also yesterday. I was just happenning to be listening at the right time. The national host gave USF a lot of respect in stating that we are building something special down here.

that is why scheduling and beating  teams like auburn instead of woffards is the way to go every year(not  once every 4 years)

perfect scheduling again this year with soft opener.  who in their right mind would want auburn to be the first game?

Agreed...

We have 2 very big games out of our first 4 so opening against "ellen" or "wallford" is just part of it. 3-1 against Elon, AU, UNC, and WV would be much more impressive than 1-3 against Michigan, AU, USC, and LSU...we just aren't there yet and jumping the gun by scheduling teams like these won't help. Just ask our redheaded step-sisters to the east (no offense to red-headed step-sisters)

Didn't hear it, but THANX !!!

USF has beefed up our OOC . . . although 2008 isn't strong, but:

2009 Miami

2010 Miami & Florida

2011 Miami

2012 Miami

And expecting MORE !!!

thanks E.T.  at least you see the trend and don't constantly complain.  We are moving in the right direction.  Some people just don't get the fact that teams are not just lining up to play USF.  Especially, since they will want it to be at home and they really do not want to loose.
