He was deciding between Cincy and U Conn.    U Conn was considered the favorite since it is closer to home.  It is not a surprise he is going there.

From my perspective there are no pushovers in the Big East.  The Orange are the only ones that have yet to beat us and with their history I wouldn't count on maintaining that status forever.

What great things have they accomplished on the gridiron since 1959?

Think twice before you use it on him. He provides some of the funniest stuff on here, some of it may even be intentional. It'll help pass the time in the two months before football.

I find it more annoying than anything though. Very Hauling bull-ish. Cynical humor, whether intentional or not, can get very tiresome - coming from a contant source...

realistic views does not mean the glass is half empty all the time

Besides, no one can top smazza for borderline dementia/bi-polar.

I honestly don't really think it's cynical humor. It's just that some people must get a some type of cheap thrill out of being a "mouthbreather" as you so eloquently put it. They thrive on being a contrarian and it really is humorous to see the depths they go to to play the part. Beautiful case in point was our boy here trying to twist UCF into a BCS program over on the Poo Flinging Board. That was good stuff.   ;)

Smazza is in a category all by himself and still my most entertaining poster..

Ignore Smazza? That would be like using an ignore on Latka off Taxi. He really means nothing in the scheme of things, but when he speaks (figuratively) some of the funniest S on this board comes out.

It keeps me from conversing with their silly comments  ;D

KB,

Just click on ignore in the person's post ... their comments will not be displayed. If you wish to read what they wrote, just click on "view", or something like that.

And you can change your preference anytime you wish.

Back to the original post:

Heard something about a Big "Get" for Cincy at QB.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
