Welcome to the Dog-Eat-Dog Days of Summer. The time when college fans begin to have withdrawls from the lack of college sports, and football season can't get here soon enought. The time when college fans begin to turn on each other over various non-important issues such as mexican food, and will discuss anything just to try and keep their sanity. Oh the inhumanity! (and it's only July 1st)

I think we are capable as long as the local media is hyping us up.

Hopefully, we don't have to rely on this... We get plenty of local "reporting" but I've yet to see very much local "hype."

But on topic... if we can win a few at the start of the season, and at least be respectable at Auburn.  I think it's possible to hit 50K for a game this year.

The influx of people that graduated from out of state schools coming to Tampa is much more than you think. Personally, other than our own alumns, this is the segment of the Tampa Bay area that I would market USF football to. These folks, especially those from the midwest, may have ties to Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Ball State, etc., and they're too far to get to watch their alma maters in person. So, we offer them a local alternative in USF. Show them that we're creating tradition instead of following it. I think if local media outlets were to push USF football in such a fashion, coming to USF Football games could become the "IT" thing to do. I think we need the local media hyping up USF football to really start attracting those on the fringes.

I still say we won't break 50k more than twice, and that's only if we beat Auburn.

The only "hype" that will bring in those you're talking about marketing to, IMO, is winning. The more and better wins we have will draw better media coverage and it becomes a snowball. We, as USF fans, can do more as far as marketing to those out of state school alumni than the media can. If you know any, try and get them out to games with you. This is where the allure of a top notch pro football stadium could come in handy. Get them TO the game and then, hopefully, the Bulls on the field can convince them yo adopt USF as their 2nd favorite team...

Agree with Trib !

The media is suppose to "report" . . . and beating Auburn and having the week off will really dominate the local media.

We will definitley top 50 thousand during the West Virginia game. Thats partly due to a bunch of them buying tickets in hopes of vengeance.

That can't happen thou.

UCF has a good shot of toppin 50,000 too, but it will probably top off at about 45 thousand.

I absolutley agree with the beating Auburn scenario helping attendance. That'll help us get to a top notch bowl game.

I think yes, and more than just once.

WVU ... with a bye week after the win over Auburn and a Top 25 Ranking.

UCF ... obviously a fan favorite and the opponent so close.

Cincy ... HomeComing and expected Top 15 Ranking

Louisville ... final Home game and potentially 2 Top 10 Teams Battling.

Go BULLS !!!

One game at a time.

One game at a time.

That's for the Players and Coaches, not an "Extreme Bull" as myself  ;D
