Unfortunately, ET, he's right.  The Glazer's have certain rights in their contract with TSA, and they would lose money by waiving them.  Negotiating usually only works when both parties are going to receive value from the end product.  In this case, in order for USF to get some of the rights to concessions, the Glazers will lose money.  There's no win-win situation here, simply because of the way the TSA allows the Bucs to have everything.

But at the same time they didn't have to "give" on parking and could actually charge more per game..

A: "Because they didn't want to.", etc.

I was hoping for a "reason" . . . besides simple greed.

I'm sure if the tractor pull, concert, etc. comes to RayJay, they keep concessions ... but would HOPE TSA would be "kinder" to USF ... being part of the community.

Again, I think it's a fair deal. It's just the greed of the TSA over a school of the community. And "when we have our OCS, hope we compete for their(TSA's) events.  But obviously we won't be doing too much of that.

If you knew the answer, (because the Glazers don't have to), why ask the question?

Bottom line, the Glazers make $$$$ off every single event held in that publicly financed stadium.

Whoever did the negotiation for Hillsborough County (and/or TSA) was taken to the cleaners BIG TIME.
