"Career" Rushing Yards

Andre Hall            2,731

Rafael Williams      2,253

Clenton Crossley    1,644

Dyral McMillan        1,246

Marquel Blackwell  1,235

Vince Brewer        1,103

Jermaine Clemons  1,080

"Yes" ... feel great about Samuels and Ford. Obviously one of them needs to take the lead. Also, not counting our Plancher, hope he is 100%.

And I also BULLieve Grothe will top the 1,000 career rushing yards by season's end. Has 622, only needs 379 to top the milestone. And could very well pass Blackwell as Top Career QB Rushing Yards, needs 614. Will definately have a huge career rushing yard total when it's all said and done.

I'm really expecting an improved Offense under Gregory.

Go BULLS !!!

I would love to have a 1,000 yard RB but I would rather have 2 x 800 yard RB's especially since we know Grothe will probably get 400 on without Robs QB draws (scrambles and such)

I'm not as concerned about 40 yard gains. I would rather see our RB's give Grothe 2nd and 5 on a regular basis. I would call that an RB success!

Mike Ford will do it.  If Leavitt gives him the starting job early enough.  This kid is a beast.  He reminds me of Eddie George back in the day.

:Bang

Yeah, wonder when he'll "give" him or whoever the starting job ?

Maybe when the RB shows he IS the starter.

And SeaBull, having two 800 yard rushers would be great, but I would rather have two "1,000" yard rushers.  ;D

I hope that Grothe doesn't get to the 1,000 mark this year.  I'd really prefer to see a lot less draw plays this year.  Last year, we needed them because the backfield wasn't strong enough.  This year, I think we'll see some big differences in the backfield...

I feel the same way, but I think he will.  Part of what makes Grothe great is that he can pull of plays like that.  Grothe is great at making bad play calls into big plays. Having a great RB will really help confuse the D

It really doesn't matter if we have a 1000 yard runner, what matters is putting the ball in the enzone and points on the board.

Andre Hall ran for 114 in the Car Care Bowl and Pontoon added 41 yet the Bulls failed to put a single point on the board.

Hall ran for more than 1300 yards each of his two seasons which was great to watch, but the Bulls didn't win enough games to finish at the top of the conference.

I think ... EXPECT Grothe to cross 1,000 easily. And also expect about 1,000 more yards passing. He may not top the 9 Rushing TD's, but expect the Passing TD's to Double.

On top of this, close to 2,500 yards total on the ground.

Really have HIGH expectations with Gregory as OC and Grothe with a year of 1A play behind him.

I watched Grothe for 2 years in HS and saw lots of similarities in 2006 . . . lots of great things should come from #8 the next 3 seasons.

Go BULLS !!!

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
