Our Shirt----- 4 people who want one but cant get to campus

They look great.  I hope they wash better than the green Bulls T's they gave out for free last year at the Sun Dome before hoops games.  I have four of those and the white logo didn't stand up well in the washing machine, so they have been relegated to wearing around the house.  Must have been something wrong with the ink.

Laundry hint!!!!

Turn the shirt inside out when you wash it.  Use cold water and a mild detergent.  Also, I understand they will tend to shrink, so don't put them in the dryer, let them air dry.

The problem with the shirts I mentioned had nothing to do with the washing technique or the quality of the shirts (Fruit of the Loom Heavy Cotton)  but rather with silk screening process.  The only problem was the logos not washing well. Some of the logos showed signs of cracking before they were washed.  Perhaps the ink wasn't mixed properly, or they were forced dried too rapidly.  Not being an expert in silk screening I can't really determine the cause so I'll just say shoddy workmanship.  The same was not true of the white shirts with green logos they also gave away at the BB games.  Heck, I have some USF t-shirts that may be 20 years old and the logos are almost as good as new despite being washed 100's of times.

To be on the safe side I won't wash "Our Shirt" until after the Elon game.  I just hope that most of the shirts are worn to the game.  A sea of green in the stands would look great.
