What else can we do in the off-season but over-analyze and over-speculate?

As my grandpa (a staunch tee-totaler since Prohibition) would say, "it's cheaper than buying them beer!"

You're right.  It's bad when we are over-analyzing a QB because he almost didn't qualify.  At least talk about his high school tapes instead of critisizing him for  ALMOST not getting through the clearinghouse.  I bet you a good portion of our team now had the same issue.  The offseason is driving us crazy :o :o  Only 71 days until we pound Elon into the ground

It would make great sense to hold Voss out as long as possible to capitalize on his playing time when Grothe is graduated.

I don't think Alton is dumb either, but he probably did slack off quite a bit if he was awaiting word this late.

On the Marquel and other QBs note, the guy has to be somewhat smart, but he need not be a Rhodes Scholar to play the QB position.

awesome news!  I hope he turns out to be an incredible offensive weapon to replace grothe in 2010 when we stomp the swamp.

I am very happy this 6'3" 230 lbs Athlete is qualified and excited about RSing.

Regarding the QB position, I think we have the best 2 we've ever had. Also been hearing lots of Top Prep QB names ... really expecting some great QB's signing with USF.
