talked to huners today in the training room at the athletic facility, he was doing some rehab, he said everything is going well and ahead of schedule so far.

Maybe, but I think the number is still 5 to 6 (and we know that 1 is for sure).

I thought everybody realized that 4-6 may not qualify, we signed 28 or so, and you can only enroll 25, although a couple may not apply to this number- I hear that Hill may not apply against the 25, and I still wonder if the staff had to apply McCaskill, Warren, and Fonua to this year since they had room on last year.  I also wouldn't be surprised to see another high profile transfer come in.

I thought McGowan had always been mentioned as a guy that could move to the OL...if he's already up to 6-4 255lbs, he played as a senior in HS around 230lbs, that's a good sign.  He gets to camp around 260 or so and that's the perfect OL....by his 2nd year the staff has him up to 280-290lbs and in his 3rd year he's a big tight 290-300lbs and ready to go.  They're working the same way with Ide, I can name tons of guys that have moved from TE to OT and made a perfect transition.  Luke Petitgout, the Bucs FA signee, signed with ND as a TE.

Also Joe Staley from Central Michigan (1st rnd draft pick this year by the niners). He made the transition from TE ot LT. The guy is over 300 lbs and still runs a 4.8 40 yd dash.  If they athleticism is there it won't be a problem at all

Yes, but as Bein mentioned, USF has been signing over the limit the last few years to keep our optoins open. It may get bad press & smack from other schools, but I don't care as we are doing what is best for our program.
