how much did that set you back. That is one nice piece of USF history

$110...not too bad.  And it was a donation!

$110.00 is a good deal.  The bidding for the Papajohns.com game balls was a little more expensive.  As was the first Alumni ball with CJL and the assistants.

There are companies that can imprint the logo on a regulation football for you; google this topic on the internet and you shoudl be able to find it.  I needed specialty shirts earlier this year and bought some nice shirts and had a logo artist put the Bulls symbol on the pocket - they look good.  Good luck, Go Bulls!

I remember the Band used to get tons of games balls throughout the season, back when we were in the endzone. 

I know a few of my friends have some..

Man you must have been lucky in the band.  Back in 2003 when I was in the band, we were behind the goalposts and were lucky if we could get a hand on the ball before ushers or athletic staff on the field signaled for us to give it back.  Happened many times if I remember correctly.

I'd be leery of a ball sold to me at the auction saying it was an official game ball. A friend of mine showed me one they picked up and I could tell the ball was a practice ball for sure. Those game balls are in really good shape... almost like they've never been used... the practice balls... they are worn down. I feel my friend got duped... I used to have about five or six balls at any one time back in the day... they have since left my possession during drunken tailgates, etc... A real game ball is pretty freaken nice!

I have a few.  I got them at tailgates from drunk kids throwing and leaving them around.  ;D
