Worst game ever!

So,  E.T. started a thread on OOC games and it was heading this way.

For me it's a toss up between Cincy last year, we were there and it sucked!

And the hurricane make-up WVU game that started at 11:00am, cold and misting rain, and we got thumped.

What's yours?

The WVU makeup game was a night game with good weather, maybe you are thinking of the Pitt game 3 years ago...

I would go with UCONN in 06.

#2 would be the homecoming game vs Army

The army game really sucked, but I still have to go with UCONN '06. Winning that game really would have put us in the spotlight.  There are some many what if's? thatcould be asked

Several come to mind:

1.  at Utah.  I thought we could hang with these guys and we got pounded in every sense of the word.  I knew their offense would score, but I thought we would score on them too.

2.  FIU last year.  I know, we won, but we almost didn't.  FIU played inspired ball and we looked painfully inept at times.  I know, we won.....

3.  at Arkansas.  We were not ready for primetime that is for sure.  What a beat down.

4.  Drake.  First season, second home game.  After the euphoria of the 80-3 win in game one and the almost come from behind at The Citadel in game two, we lose to a non-scholarship team that did not have as much talent as we had in the Sombrero.  Very disappointing.

5.  UConn.  At UConn.  The big build up to a huge game with WVU gets deflated.  Ugh.

6.  Army homecoming.  Big lead...big loss.  How could our defense be so BAD?

Normal, good call on that Drake game.  I was in attendance that whole first year prior to moving to Atlanta.  The UConn loss was terrible, but the Army loss was even worse because it was embarassing.  We made headlines for all the wrong reasons that day.
