With the coutdown to BULLRUSH 2007 going on, it got me thinking.

Which players number, if any, of the past ten years will be retired? first?

I think a player will need to garner serious national honors to be thought of in respect of retiring their number.

"When" we have our own stadium, we need to have something honoring the Original BULLS.

And ... WHEN we are in this position of retiring a number, I think it should just be for that position.

Go BULLS !!!

How about a first-team All-America? In fact, a near-consensus first-team All-American.

You don't retire a number in college football unless a player is really really special. Andre was great, but not retire his number level.

He deserves his name in our football hall of fame.

Someone will step forth and get their number retired eventually. Could be Grothe, could be someone in 2020

I would never retire a player's number at the college level.  We could have a Bull Ring of honor or something of that sort.

How about a first-team All-America? In fact, a near-consensus first-team All-American.

If other schools like UMiami , USC, Notre Dame, UFla and FSU used that criteria then they would not have any numbers for their current players.

I say that we should have them up in a ring of Honor but allow current players to wear their numbers....

JMHO.......
