Joe... any clue why they have them under Cornerbacks (for the seniors) and Defensive Backs (for the juniors). I think that's the confusing part.

No clue, but it might have something to do with the fact that Mel Kiper has written that he hates to rank underclassmen because he does not want to be part of a basis for their decision if they elect to leave school early.

Really it makes no sense, but maybe he's trying to limit the number of juniors he ranks.

Trae was covering Andre Allison from ECU, their best receiver (also drafted in the NFL I believe).

great backfield

will our defense be top 10 thisyear?

YES !

We have one of the best CB tandems ... really think this will allow our Front Seven the opportunity to attack the QB.

I am too lazy to list the reasons why we'll have the Top 10 Defense  8)

#21 is #2 All-Time on the INT list. Williams also lead the team with INT's ... Jenkins lead the team with Pass BreakUps.

Go BULLS !!!

Mike has the best closing speed I have ever seen by a USF DB. I will never forget when we played UM two years ago. Olsen had a sure TD, and Mike came up from behind and stripped the ball lose causing a touchback! It was an all time hustle play! It reminded me of Beebe stripped the ball from Leon Lett in the SB.

That was classic.

I bullieve Lett was also the one responsible for Miami's win in Dallas (remember the snow!) when he played for Dallas.

You are wrong, Jenkins was assigned to Allison the entire game.  You were also wrong in saying all the deep balls were burned on Jenkins.  Please go back and check the stats and game film, to help in your search since your memory is failing why not check who got burned in the ECU game for the long TD on 4th and long (Trae Williams), check who got burned on the long TD to Myles against WVU to make the game closer then it should have been (Trae Williams), check to see who got burned deep against UCF to their little used receiver Thorton (Trae Williams).

Ask Coach Douglass what he thinks of Jenkins and he will tell you point blank the kid is the best cover corner he's coached.  If Mike has any knock it is his hands, but speed, strength, size and he's almost unmatched.

This is no knock on Trae Williams because teams picked on him intentionally because Mike typically shutdown the oppositions best receiver but Trae is not as good as Jenkins but a nice compliment.

I don't need to watch game film I was there.  Every time you saw a deep ball go up it was because a receiver Jenkins was covering was open.  Coaches picked on him frequently because trae was all over his receivers.

Trae > Jenkins

Not really sure what you are watching. Opposin coaches scheme tothrow away from Jenkins side.

I'm not sure of it is the Defense that the team is playing or just the Jenkins plays, but a lot of times (especially early in the games) Jenkins will play off the receiver and simply use his closing peed to make plays.  When the game is on the line he tightens up his coverage

and is a complete lockdown corner.

Williams is good, but he gets burned a lot, but a lot of the time he has the speed to recover on the deep balls.

I don't think this needs to be a who is better than who contest.  Both of these players are an important part of the team.  The fact that we have both of them is a good thing.  If I need someone to watch my back.....I'll take either one.  LOL

GO BULLS!!!!!!!
