The only reason we didn't go 0-12 was because of Andre Hall, not pat.

And he deserved to get booed.  He was color blind because all he could do was throw to players in the non-green jerseys.  Leavitt could have found a better QB with open tryouts.

At least Ponton contributed 2 years ago when Andre needed a rest.  All pat was good for was handing off.  Look what Grothe did to ECU in the first half.  Then pat couldn't "lead" the team to any points in the second half.

Back off of Pat.  He did what no one else could (or, I believe would) do - play QB when we had no real team to QB.

Pat may not have scored points against ECU, but when we were up by 2 TDs, I think all he was trying to do was keep that clock ticking.  He did get a few sweet runs, and got those precious Fourth Down conversions.

Wow... that's a bit harsh.

Very harsh indeed!  And with only a couple posts under his belt, he didn't exactly sugarcoat it.

Oh so what, stop babying these players.  If someone goes, and he's glad to see him gone, then he can say it.  What?  Is this freaking elementary school?

Just like I said, Pat Julmiste was a joke and worthless space on the roster, why don't you pile on me now.

Ricky was disciplined in the harshest way possible for team/school infractions.  There really is nothing more to say on that score.

Regardless of what you say, Pat Julmiste was a captain on the team.  He came in when Ronnie Banks was unable to get the job done and did it.  In the 10 year history of the team there were only 2 losing seasons.   Our first year as a football team and a 1-AA team.  Pat was not on the team then.  One losing season as a 1-A team while in C-USA and I believe Pat was our backup at that time.  Know what you speak of before you get down on him.

Wins         Losses      Playing

1997         5             6              1-AA

1998         8             3              1-AA

1999         7             4              1-AA

2000         7             4              1-AA

2001         8             3              Independent 1-A

2002         9             2              Independent 1-A

2003         7             4              Conference USA

2004         4             7              Conference USA

2005         6             6              Big East

2006         9             4              Big East

Actually (if memory serves me correctly) I believe Pat was indeed the starting QB for that losing 2004 season.

Hmmm....maybe I wasn't the only one who noticed it....but Pat could never win w/ the Bulls if we did not have our Green Jerseys on.  White jerseys meant a sure loss.  White jerseys with white pants meant an ass whooping...

I'll have to agree... Ricky turned out to be garbage when he got back... albeit he scored twice during the UNC game.

He still never lived up to what everyone thought he was going to be while they were watching him take more reps during Hall's last year.  I think those missed games killed his style.  If he was so good, then he would have contended much better for the starting job last year to eventually become the started by the end of the year.

Excuse me but Pat had Andre Hall and good receivers....So please tell me who the  "real team"  Grothe QB'd  last year?

Pat may have been a great guy and team player, but he was not a quality  D1A quarterback.  It was painful to watch him lead the Bulls offense.

It is probably a good time to remind you that putting down and insulting former or current players based on their ability or performance while at USF is not considered acceptabe prose on this board.  You may critique, analyze, debate, etc.; but calling names and insulting is not welcomed here.  Posts including such improper activity will be deleted and, ir repeated, could lead to the poster's eventual removal.
