Do you guys think I am not in agreement with that?

I completely agree that football shouldn't be #1 on the list.  I also don't think it should be #2 or even #3 on the list.  #4 at best.

Here is what my post was intended to say:

1) Pensacola isn't that far away

2) Since Pensacola isn't far away, he might ...MIGHT...be using an excuse to transfer for more playing time

3) No matter what, he has to do what he feels he has to do

That's it.

Just a hypothesis.

Sorry to disappoint you three or four guys who thought you were taking up a cause against someone who thought football was more important than family.

I disagree with the basis of your hypothesis, that Pensacola isnt that far away. 7 hours by car(with little traffic) isnt exactly close to Tampa. Polk County, Sarasota, Manatee, Orlando "aren't far away from Tampa". Hell, even Ft Myers or Lauderdale "arent far away" from Tampa, especially compared to Pensacola.

There isnt anything to contradict what he is saying, so I dont understand why you are looking at this so critically. What your saying possible? Maybe, but there isnt anything to contradict him.

Some would have us believe Charlotte, NC is not that far away to claim a 'hardship' just for the sake of arguing.

Here's the real chink that proverbial armor- FACTS.

FACTS:

FACT 1:  Glover's grandmother is very ill and going through kidney treatments.

FACT 2:  His grandmother is his only immediate relative that raised him.

FACT 3:  Pensacola is over a 7 hour drive, ONE WAY, and that there are no less than 7 Universities that have football programs that are within half that drive- BOTH WAYS...I can name them if someone has a problem understanding that value.

FACT 4:  Glover, despite all the ignorant claims, is still participating in voluntary workouts, and just yesterday was working out with the team, and had a meeting with Coach Burnham who tried to convince him of staying....so so much for the ignorant theory that 'he's afraid of competition' because dude isn't in school, he could have been gone last Friday, and the HC all but cast him off, but he still chose to workout all weekend and participate on Monday with voluntary scheduled workouts and meetings.

So, despite some claiming that "HE MIGHT BE USING IT AN EXCUSE TO TRANSFER."  I believe that person is the one grasping at straws and is the one absent of any salient fact or reasoning to support his hypothesis.  ET, and others have clear facts to support Glover's claim, as stated and provided above.  Therefore, ET's not being positive just working off the actual facts provided.

Triple, that is the problem with these boards.  It isn't the postive spin ET takes but rather the fact anyone can put an outlandish claim down on the board under an anonymous handle with no reprocussions or facts to support.  Just insinuate away.  Therefore ET can be positive with full reasoning behind it and someone can attack him without provocation, and lie or accuse, without anything to support.

For me, as a positive person you know, I believe before I degrade or insult a guy that's on our football team I would rather wait until I had facts to support my claims.  Particularly when said player is actually still contemplating staying.  But hey I guess "Hypothesizing" is what it's called these days.  Back when I was a kid it was called rumormongering or worse yet, "LYING" but hey these days everyone is guilty on the internet until proven innocent.

Hey I am not trying to be a '****' but before people should start calling a kid names, making tough accusations, or accusing ET of positive spinning they should consider all the facts.  It's only fair to the player and people on this board.
