Football: Favorite/Best Play of the '06 Season

So this on another board and wondered myself.

Dang tough to think of just one  :-/ So many to choose from.

Right now, would have to say the Sack/Strip of White by C. Robinson and the Fumble Recovery by Selvie run in for a TD against WVU.

I agree with you ET!  The WVU game is the standout.

I am, however, have a sentimental when it comes to what we did in our first bowl win!!!!!!!!  Also, to see Pat holding up the trophy after his final game brought a tear to my eye.  What a great young man he is.

Best play might have been MG's gravity defying scramble but Selvie's play may have defined our season and future.

best play was when Grothe was "sacked" only to throw a pass for a big gain.

The Grothe to Johnson pass vs Cuse has to be up there as well. And the 54 yard FG. How often do we see that?

My top 3 in order would be:

The sack/fumble recovery vs WVU

Grothe's "i'm not going down" play + throw vs Pitt

Grothe to TJ down the seam against Syracuse

Hands down...not only did it turn the tide of the game for us, but it also showed the world what we can do.
