the black logo looks nice but doesnt match...make the logo green with white trim then it would stick out

They make the "U" black because green does not show up on TV and is bad for live games too.

and another thing, if that's the case, why doesnt PITT do their's in black?

Um, because Pitt doesn't have green for its' primary color....?

The POINT is not blue or green, the point is that it's a dark color. USF's excuse is "well, it's close enough to black, let's just make it black". Pitt, meanwhile stays true to their colors and says "we're going to use our school colors because they are our colors. period."

Why? Does anybody, anywhere outside of our program give a hoot about our helmets and uni colors? If this was having an honest-to-goodness negative impact on our image, I'd think there would be a lot more sashaying over to Shoop's thinking....

You seem the most level-headed out of this bunch so maybe you can sway the rest of us.
