Uniform Question

I'll open this up to the whole board and not just Shoop.  I recall the first season of USF football at the Old Sombrero where USF wore white pants at home.  I went to all of those games prior to moving to Atlanta.  Nowadays, all USF wears at home is green pants.  When did this change happen??  After watching the 10 year DVD, its apparent that they wore both colored pants at home during the same seasons on numerous occassions.  And many will be shocked to know, some of our greatest victories happened when we are wearing the white pants at home.  

So, my question is.............when did we officially stop wearing white pants at home?

I realize we had a huge winning streak at home during the time it changed, but both colors were worn during that stretch.  In other words, I don't think the streak had that much to do with it since we wore white during some of those big games during that stretch.

This is what you get at 3:00 AM in the offseason....................

I have always preferred the white pants with the green jerseys.

I think the all-one-color look makes players look somewhat short & dumpy.

Just my way of seeing things.

I have been hoping for the introduction of shiny GOLD pants for special occasions.  How sweet would that look??

Come on, Crambone.....I hope you're kidding about that.

LOTS of teams wear gold pants.  We wouldn't be copying a single one of them....just using one of our two main colors.

Besides, if we're really concerned about not looking like UCF, we need to talk to whoever it was that made the decision to change the facemask & decal from a beautiful green to black.  Black isn't one of our colors!   >

I like the gold pants but I think Nike has a hard time matching our gold but they would look sweeeeeeeet. I would say we would look like UAB

Now back to the white paints I am not a big fan of them they look too much like practice pants when worn with our green jerseys

Bulliever, you may want to think long and hard about this ad link thing that turns certain words in posts into advertisement links.

For example, my post just two above this one turned the word "beautiful" into a link about finding "big beautiful women" in the USA.   :-/

Kind of funny in a way, but I'd hate for anyone to come away with the wrong idea.

I like the green on green...didnt like the green on white at home...I like the white on green for away games...didnt like white on white...the black logo looks nice but doesnt match...make the logo green with white trim then it would stick out

nah, it wasn't a joke...I think white would be better, especially when our gold color looks too much like theirs...
